Actress Park Shin Hye, the leading star of hit drama
"Pinocchio," on Saturday met fans in Shanghai as part of her ongoing
fan meeting tour "Dream of Angel" across Asia.
Park danced and sang onstage and played games with fans.
Her "Pinocchio" co star Kim Young-kwang, who played a fellow reporter
in the romantic series, made a surprise appearance onstage and gave her a hug,
who reportedly became teary-eyed with emotion.
Park Shin Hye has proven once again that she is
truly beautiful both inside and out.
Recently, news about her donating all profits from her
latest Chinese fan meeting have made the headlines. After holding a press
conference at the iapm Center in Shanghai on March 27, the actress personally
greeted a total of 1,000 local fans at the Shanghai Centre Theatre the
following day.
This marks the third year in a row for Park Shin Hye to
hold a solo fan meeting in China. Making this year’s event even more special, the
beautiful actress has decided to donate all earnings from the meeting to
two ongoing efforts: a ‘Star Light Village’ project in Ghana and a group
protecting Chinese abandoned animals. Both
projects address causes that she personally feels strongly about.
A representative of the local event organization committee
stated, “While many Hallyu stars are holding fan meetings, there are barely any
occasions when they donate all ticket sales revenue to a charity like Park
Shin Hye,” and expressed their admiration for the actress’ generosity.
